The Value of Signage - seeking survey participates
On-premise signage is one of the backbones of commerce. Centuries before the advent of the printing press and today’s modern graphic and electronic communication media, signage played a significant role in advertising the availability of goods and services. And signage, in all its various forms, is no less important a communication medium now than it was then.*

Recently we found a study that is investigating the economic value of on-premise signage. The University of Cincinnati is seeking survey participates to gain a valuable insight into how signage is viewed. The aim of the study is to investigate how differences or changes in signs affect businesses. This study will provide information to aid end users’ sign investment decisions and increase understanding of how signs serve community and consumer needs.

If you are interested in participating, please visit this
link. At the end of the survey, you can request a brief summary of the findings of the research project. In addition, Signmanager will provide a report on the survey findings in a future edition of the Insider. We expect this to be available mid-year.

Also the team at the University of Cincinnati is offering the opportunity for businesses to be featured as a case study. They are seeking businesses with different signage at multiple locations.  They are interested in measuring how the differences in signage at each location are linked to the business performance at each location. To be involved in this case study, please email the organisers,
Jeffry Rexhausen
or Chris Auffrey.
